Heading to the Tegallalang rice terraces, in Bali, I came across this cremation just outside of Ubud. At first, I just peered up from the road, but some of the men called me up to take a closer look and explained the situation to me, who the woman was, about her daughter sitting across the flames and drizzling rain from where we stood, and the rest of the family surrounding her on the slope.
There are a couple of photos showing her legs and feet in the flames, so if you don't think you have the stomach for it, you shouldn't scroll down...
