The lanterns celebrating the date of Buddha's coming ought to be out in Bongeunsa by now.
This will probably be the first year in a few that I won't be visiting Bongeunsa, which is fine, but my thoughts will surely be wandering there several times this month, as it was an important place in my life, especially during the month of May.
Here are a couple of shots of the lanterns leading from the gate, up and under the meditation hall, to the main Dharma Hall.
