Ma Yi San ~ the Horse Ear Mountains












About a year and a half ago, I visited a mysterious little temple, TapSa, beside two harmoniously mysterious mountains that have eroded into the epithet of Ma I San (pronounced 'Ma-ee-san'), in English, the Horse Ear Mountains, an authentically ethereal place. I'll have to reserve a particular occasion to divulge more about Korea's great auscultators, and the monk, Yi Kap, who translated Zen in their Orphic Eaves Droppings, for his story owns a purpose of a different element.
