Monday Morning Blues; Cool It, Right

George Coleman (Bongo Joe) • Cool It, Right

A few of the gems from this song;

You better cool it, and try to do it right.
R-I-G-H-T
YA, THAT'S WHAT I SAID, YOU'D BETTER COOL IT AND DO IT RIGHT!

Anytime you don't do a thing right
You are subject to have a fight.
That's why I keep tellin' you
You better cool it, and do it right

Now, don't you rush and do it too fast
First thing you know, you'll be doin' your last

You don't do it according to Hall(?)
You don't do it according to Nietzsche or Socrates
You have to do it according to yourself

When you do it right, you do it according to right
There is only one right and that is right.

Now, it all depends what side of the question you look at it from
Some say there are two sides to a question.
But that is the biggest lie ever told.
I'm here to tell ya' that there's six sides to any question
First you got the North side and the South side
The East side and the West side
You got the front side and, of course, you get the message, I don't have to tell ya

You better cool it, don't try to fool, and do it right
And you won't have to worry 'bout a fight, no night

Do it right!
Tight!
Up tight!
Out'a sight!
That's the trouble know, we got too much out'a sight and ain't gotta damn bit of insight!
