Monday Morning Blues; Cut That Out

Junior WellsCut That Out

Other than the obvious connection to the five precepts I could make with this song, I thought I'd share a story from Junior Wells' life.

When he was a boy, he went into a music store with a $1.50 in his pocket and chose a harmonica. When the shop owner told him the harmonica was $2, he dropped his $1.50 on the counter, grabbed the harmonica and ran.

He was quickly caught and brought to the courthouse where the judge asked him to play something on the harmonica. When he finished, the judge gave the shop owner the remaining ¢50 and told Junior he could go.

I thin there's some Dharma in that story, somewhere!
