Monday Morning Blues; Reincarnation

Though the Tibetan Lamas seem to blur this distinction, there is a distinct difference between Buddhist and Hindu concepts of reincarnation.

In Hinduism, there's generally a greater belief in a "self" that continues from one life to the next, whereas Buddhism tends not to accept the idea of an unchanging self.

The preferred alternative to the word 'reincarnation' is 'rebirth', hinting at a more subtle continuation; a perhaps similar but not identical self.
