a few ox herding images from a temple in Yeonho, Daegu



I used to pass this little village on the bus ride to and from downtown and one day decided to walk over and visit the small dharma hall.
I didn't know much at the time, or else I might have photographed the entire set, but here they are, anyway.

  6. Me too, that was what caught my eye the first time I ever saw these.

    I would like to do my own take on these someday, but I'm not sure how well I could pull off the last half. The only bull I really understand is the kind you don't want to step in!

  7. I know there are quite a few different versions of the ox pictures around, but these are one of the most attractive images I've ever seen - so, here's hoping this entire set can somehow become available to us!
