statue in the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

Wandering back from a nice tea house in Singapore, I stopped at the corner to cross the street, and was struck by a massive, Tang Dynasty influenced temple, just within the edge of Chinatown.

I didn't know anything about it at the time, or else I would have taken the time to look for Gautama Buddha's tooth enshrined in the temple. What I did find, anyway, was this incredible casting in what looked like a temporary canopied-shrine in the middle of the floor.
